After the first few years I began to notice a pattern where the oddsmakers made mistakes. They would make the same mistakes again and again. But one thing stood out to me more than anything else…

Then, I got some friends together to run bets for me. I would call them up and they would run bets to other betting shops were I knew the odds were wrong. But then something incredible happened…

That meant that one bookmaker would share their wrong oddslines with other bookmakers and so we could now place our bets at almost any bookmaker in the country.

During this time the bookies began to focus their shops more and more on the virtual terminals. Something I’m very much against. And, after 10 years as a shop manager, I’d had enough.
